Srinagar: Blaming coalition regime for kidnapping Hurriyat leaders and lodging them at unknown destination in New Delhi, Syed Ali Geelani called it sheer political vendetta.
In a statement to KNS, Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep concern over the kidnapping of ailing Hurriyat leader, Peer Saif Ullah & deteriorating condition of Shahid-ul-Islam and added that authorities are reluctant to disclose their whereabouts.
Syed Ali Geelani while lamenting at “careless” approach of state authorities & NIA said, “They stand responsible for their negligence if any untoward happens to these leaders.
Geelani said that Saif Ullah is suffering from brain tumor & though he has undergone surgery for said ailment, however he was under continuous medical supervision as he is suffering from persistent headache & kidnapping by NIA can prove fatal for his health.
Lashing at state administration, Syed Ali Geelani said that they want to gain favors for these arbitrary actions from their masters in New Delhi & are creating a sense of scare, however, we will fight them tooth and nail, added Geelani.
They won’t cow down our passion and people in state won’t deter from their mission and will pursue their fight for freedom right with persistence, said Geelani.
These undemocratic tactics will not dissuade pro-freedom people from supporting and promoting the just cause of freedom from Indian hegemony, added he.
Indian authorities under well thought out plan framed conspiracies and even in past they employed such barbaric and malicious tactics however, we are neither afraid nor we will give up our mission, said he.
Geelani said that NIA is being used as a war weapon against pro-freedom leadership and local henchmen are facilitating these arbitrary measures and added that their main aim is to gag genuine voices so as to realize their dream for Hindu Rashtra and bring changes in demographic status of state.
Despite all these overt and covert measures, people are committed & determined to carry mission of freedom till the issue is resolved as per their aspirations, said Geelani.
Commenting over the notices issued to 37 more persons by NIA, Syed Ali Geelani said that it won’t dampen our resolve nor it will cow down our passion and spirits.
Kashmir issue is clear and unambiguous, said Geelani and added that, it is a reality and international community stand witness to the fact.
While lamenting at Indian authorities, Geelani added that these authorities are desperate to employ every arbitrary measure to suppress our freedom struggle.
International community should take serious notice of deteriorating situation in Kashmir and fulfill its responsibility, added Geelani and expressed hope that they will act in accordance with aspirations of people & resolutions passed in United Nations. (KNS)
