DG ICSI calls on Altaf Bukhari, discusses overseas career opportunities for youth

SRINAGAR: The Director General, International Chamber for Service Industry (ICSI), Gulshan Kumar today called on Minister for Education Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari here to discuss overseas career opportunities for the unemployed youth of the State through Union Ministry of Commerce and Industries.
The Director General said that ICSI aims at overhauling the skill of the youth by imparting vocational education and generating employment avenues to the youth.
During the Meeting, various programmes for empowering and providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of the State were discussed in detail.
The Minister appreciated the role of ICSI and said that proposed programmes would be fruitful as our youth have considerable potential and capabilities to excel in any field.
Among others, Secretary Education Farooq Ahmad Shah, Director Education G.N Itoo, Director School Education Jammu Ravinder Singh were also present on the occasion.
