Div Com pays surprise visit to GB Pant Hospital

SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today paid a surprise visit to GB Pant hospital and took stock of facilities being provided to the patients especially new born babies in the hospital.
He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone, Principal Government Medical College and other concerned officers.
Divisional Commissioner inspected NICU, PICU and maternity wards of the hospital and interacted with attendants about medical facilities.
While interacting with the attendants, he said that patients should be provided every facility, especially to new born babies and also directed the hospital management for further improving medicare facilities.
Baseer Ahmad Khan also took stock of availability of medicines and directed to ensure proper dress code besides maintaining cleanliness in and around the hospital especially in wash rooms.
Divisional Commissioner directed hospital administration to work with zeal so that patients should not face any kind of difficulty. He also assured the hospital administration for redressal of all demands put forth by them on priority basis so that the hospital will run smoothly.
