The meeting also expressed concern over the deteriorated situation in the Kashmir valley and the total failure of the State and the Centre Govt during the past two and half years to restore normalcy. The State Govt has utterly failed on all fronts and the policies of the present dispensations have further worsened the situation at the grass root level and the people are facing great hardships in view of the prevailing situation.
The meeting was apprised that State Govt is unable to reach out to the people at the grass root level to address the basic necessities and redress the grievances of the people and there is no governance worth the name. The meeting was also apprised about the approach of the PDP BJP Government towards the issue of implementation of GST in the state and said the chaos, confusion and delay in the implementation of the GST in the state was due to the confusion and contradiction amongst the coalition partners regarding the mode of its implementation . Now both the Coalition Partners with contradictory stand on the issue of Article 370 are now claiming vindication of their stands, which is self-contradictory and an attempt to mislead their respective constituencies. It showed the opportunist and exploitative politics of alliance partners to continue to share power by misleading the people.
