Asiea Naqash for completion of Hazratbal-Buchpora road on time

SRINAGAR: Minister of State for Housing & Urban Development, Health, Medical Education and Social Welfare, Asiea Naqash today convened a meeting to review the progress of Hazratbal-Buchpora road here.
The meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner, Farooq Ahmed Lone, Superintendent Engineer Srinagar Showkat Pandit and Revenue officials.
The Minister asked them to expedite the process of removing 34 structures for widening of the Hazratbal-Buchpora road.
During the meeting, concerned officials informed the Minister that the acquisition process for the same has already started and it would take a month to go through.
She stressed on the officers for optimal use of funding and removal of bottlenecks in the project of public importance.
In order to provide succor at the earliest, the Minister asked the officials to work in synergy for avoiding cost and time over run of the mega project.
Ms Naqash also asked the officers to ensure quality material is used in macadamization process in the area.
