‘Pakistan to intensify campaign to highlight Indian atrocities in Kashmir’: Sartaj

Lahore: Pakistan has decided to intensify the campaign to internationally highlight ‘Indian atrocities’ in Kashmir.

This was stated by Advisor to Pakistani Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz while talking to media in Lahore, reports said.

He said the aim of the move is to draw the world attention towards the ‘gravity of situation in the occupied valley’.

According to reports he said’India is involved in gross human rights violations in the Kashmir but it has failed to suppress the voice of Kashmiris through the use of brutal force’.

Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan’s Kashmir policy is very clear and there is no change in it.

To a question, he said Pakistan strongly rejects designating Syed Salahuddin as terrorist.

About One Belt One Road initiative, he said its future is very bright as it offers great opportunities.

He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project provides a great opportunity for economic progress and development in the region.

Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan wants good relations with all countries but the national interests will always be given priority.

The Foreign Affairs Advisor said Pakistan is keen to improve its relations with China and Russian because they are bringing about development to the region.

He said that earlier, there was a monopoly of rich countries in the globalization but now this system is going to end and all the countries are participating in the process.
