King Salman performs Eid prayers at Makkah Haram

Makkah: Muslims from across several Arab and Islamic countries performed Eid al-Fitr prayers Sunday morning.
In Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman offered Eid al-Fitr prayers in Makkah with the worshippers who crowded the Grand Mosque and its courtyards
Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah also witnessed huge presence of worshipers, including citizens, residents, and Umrah pilgrims from around the world.
Eid al-Fitr prayers were aired on several Saudi TV outlets.
In his Eid sermon, Imam of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Salih bin Humaid congratulated Muslims on the day of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, asking God Almighty to accept their good deeds.
Bin Humaid stressed the importance of educating young people on the Islamic nature and its tolerance, instilling the love of their country and rulers in their hearts and minds. He also emphasized that the country’s security is a red line that must never be threatened.
