Srinagar: The incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Saturday expressed deep grief over the demise of the mother of Mass Movement, Fareeda Behanji, and extended condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.
Praying for eternal peace to the departed soul, Shah prayed for forbearance to the bereaved family saying the deceased was a God-fearing person and this family has rendered great contribution for the freedom movement.
On the directions of Shabir Ahmad Shah, a delegation led by general secretary Moulana Abdullah Tari visited the bereaved family and expressed condolence and solidarity with the members.
He also addressed the people present threre and shed light on the philosophy of life and death and prayed for heavenly abode of the deceased. (KNS)
