Srinagar: National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah on Saturday while strongly condemning the attack on a police party in Achabal, paid glowing tributes to the policemen who lost their lives in the dastardly attack. Calling the attack on a police party in Achabal, South Kashmir as alarming and grave, NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah said the attack was a clear indication of the deteriorating security scenario in the State.
“My heart goes out to the families of the martyred policemen SHO Feroz Ahmed, Constables Sharik Ahmad, Tanveer Ahmad, Sheraz Ahmad, Asif Ahmad and Sabzar Ahmed. I pay my humble tribute to them for their bravery, courage and sacrifice and stand in solidarity with their families. Their sacrifices must not go in vain”, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said.
In his message, NC Working President Omar Abdullah, while paying glowing tributes to the slain policemen, extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families in their moment of grief. “We all stand with the families of the slain policemen and our hearts go out to them. The brave sons of soil have offered the ultimate sacrifice for the State and their courage will be remembered for a long time to come”, Omar Abdullah said.
Dr. Farooq and Omar Abdullah also expressed profound grief and sorrow over the unabated civilian killings in the Valley and extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families for their inconsolable loss.
Senior Party Leaders including NC General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Chief Spokesperson Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, NC Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior Leaders Abdul Rahim Rather, Muhammad Shafi Uri, Chaudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Akbar Lone, Sakina Ittoo, Shamima Firdous, State Spokesperson Junaid Mattu and Party Legislators and office bearers have also paid glowing tributes to the slain policemen and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
