Srinagar: Syed Ali Geelani expressed his grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the suicide attack over Iran Parliament. Condemned the suicidal attack, Syed Ali Geelani also urged Iran to reassess its aggressive policy in Syria and Iraq and said that Iran too is responsible for its oppressive approach and it does not match with human values.
We condemn human killings and whosoever is involved shall face the wrath of Almighty Allah, said Geelani. Iran is supporting a despotic ruler in Syria, involved in brutal murder of innocent civilians. We need to be straight forward and Islam teaches us respect and regard humans irrespective of his faith and association and asks to snap ties and association with oppressor and killers.
Those involved in these blasts are not humans, instead trampling all cherished values of humanity, added Geelani.
Blaming these exoteric and radical groups for division and hatred among Muslim Ummah, Geelani said that they are following Zionism and are desperate to imply imperialistic agenda.
Blaming western countries for their mischievous role, Syed Ali Geelani said that these forces are sowing the seeds of hatred among different sects of Muslim Ummah, hence boost their trade of war weaponry among warring factions and countries.
Islam is the religion of tolerance, humbleness, generosity and patience, said Geelani and added that holy teaching of Quran lays stress, saying that saving one life is as if saving whole of humanity.
Geelani in his appeal to people said that we need to keep close vigil and distance from those fanatical preachers who spread hatred against other communities and sects and communities and divide Ummah on sectarian grounds. (KNS)
