Srinagar: Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today directed schools to conduct T1 exam for 8th class internally.
The Minister took this decision after meeting a delegation of Private Schools Association, headed by G N Var, in his office chamber where, Minister decided that T1 exam for 8th class would be conducted by schools internally and T2 will be conducted by State Institute of Education (SIE).
The Minister asked the delegation to focus on the quality education and to provide the necessary facilities to the students.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Secretary Higher Education, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, Director School Education, Kashmir, Dr GN Itoo.
