Poonch: Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan on Sunday decried divisive politics of the PDP-BJP government, saying that religious and regional divide is a sinister plan to pollute the harmonious atmosphere of the State.
“In order to divert the attention from failures on all fronts, the coalition partners are indulging in polarizing politcs”, Ajaz Jan said while addressing workers here this morning. He said time has come when people, irrespective of religion, region or caste, will have to stand and fight the fascist forces.
The Provincial YNC President urged the people to remain vigilant against the machinations of the parties like BJP and PDP, the main agenda of which is to polarise the situation and benefit from division in the society. He described PDP and BJP two sides of the same coin and said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will give these divisive forces a befitting reply by maintaining time tested unity.
Urging the workers to further strengthen National Conference, Jan said that the great movement of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah is committed to the agenda set for securing and safeguarding political rights of the people of the state. He said the party has to strive hard and play its destined role by taking the people of three regions along.
The district functionaries and block bodies of the National Conference discussed various problems confronted to the people and hoped that the administration will shun its inertia and ensure regulated power and drinking water supply besides rations at the CAPD sale outlets.
Prominent among those present in the meeting are working president Sardar Harcharan singh Khalsa, Bhaghhussain Rathore, Ishaq khan, Sayeed Khurishid shah and others. (KNS)
