Srinagar: Syed Ali Geelani blamed RSS for their fanatical mindset and said they are working under well thought plane to change demographic status of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, Geelani expressed his serious concern over the reports of proposed public meeting being organized in Srinagar by RSS and said that after Jammu province Kashmir is the next target for carrying their bigoted agenda. Geelani said, that these fanatical elements in 1947, brutally massacred five lakh Muslims and fifteen lakhs were compelled to migrate.
Since the inception of BJP led regime in Delhi, these forces are hatching conspiracies and turned Jammu a base station for their communal activities, said Geelani and while quoting reliable sources, said that communal forces are distributing arms and providing training to Jan Sangh workers.
Members of Muslim community are harassed and intimidated on one pretext or the other and higher officials belonging to Muslim communities are transferred to far flung areas.
We are keeping a close vigil and collecting details as such activities are detrimental, said Geelani.
We will do whatever is possible and won’t leave Muslim community in Jammu at the mercy of these fanatical forces, said Geelani
He said that not only those communal forces seem to be preparing a ground for another massacre of Jammu Muslims but even domicile state subject certificates are being issued to non-state subjects. (KNS)
