Sports act as saviour from drug menace says DIG CKR Sujit Kumar, inaugurates cricket tourney in Bemina

Srinagar: DIG CKR Sujit Kumar on Sunday inaugurated cricket tournament at Police Public School Bemina, in Srinagar. He was flanked by SDPO west Shahjhan Choudhary, SHO Bemina Mir Kazim amid other staff members.

Mr Kumar interacted with students and staff and also played a friendly match with them.

During interaction he emphasised
that youth has power for a change and they should use their energy in positive activities.

 

“Sports act as saviour of youth from the menace of drugs which not only ruins their life or family but society as well,” Kumar explained to youth, while appreciating the efforts of staff for taking interest in sports activities.

He ensured, to attendees, that such tournaments will be held in future also.

The participating teams were provided sports kits.

Participants thanked DIG CKR for organising cricket tournament for them.
