Boy charred to death, 6 injured as Darul Aloom Tral gutted in massive fire

Srinagar, Apr 06: In a tragedic incident a 10 Year-Old Boy was killed while as six others were injured after a massive fire erupted in a Darul Aloom Tral in South Kashmir’s Awantipora.

Officials told GNS that massive fire erupted in Shah I Hamdan Darul-uloom Tral, soon it engulfed whole Darul-uloom.

Fire tenders with the assistance of Police and locals after hectic efforts brought fire under control however the whole building of Darul-uloom was gutted in the incident.

In this incident, one 10 Year-Old Boy was killed namely Yasir Ahmad Son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Karmulla Tral.

Six others were also injured who have been identified as Majid Ahmad(12) son Bashir Ah Gaggi resident of Gulshanpora Tral, Ishfaq Ahmad(15) S/O Mohd Ashraf R/O Mohd Altaf S/O Masood Ah R/O Zardihard, Irfan Ah(12) S/O Bashir Ah R/O Batagund, Javid Ah(14) S/O Mohd Yousuf R/O Gulshanpora and Nasir Ahmad S/O Abdul R/O Doodmarg Tral.

All the injured have been shifted to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment.

Meanwhile, cause of fire was being ascertained and police have taken the cognizance of the incident.
