Srinagar, Mar 06: The Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) expresses profound sorrow over the demise of Rashida Naqshbandi, wife of the late Dr. Abdul Rashid Kaloo of Shivpora, Srinagar, who passed away on Tuesday following a cardiac arrest.
She was the mother of noted journalist Arshad Kaloo and Aurangzeb, and sister-in-law to Ghulam Hassan Kaloo, Editor of Mirror of Kashmir, Fayaz Kaloo, Editor-in-Chief of Greater Kashmir, and Dr. Farooq Kaloo.
In a statement issued to the INS, PSAJK State President G.N. Var extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, stating, “We stand in solidarity with the Kaloo and Naqshbandi family during this difficult time and pray for the departed soul’s eternal peace.”
The association acknowledges the significant contributions of Mr. Arshad Kaloo and Mr. Aurangzeb to journalism in the region and offers its unwavering support to them and their family in this time of grief.
