An official said, “With fresh snowfall, the J&K administration and J&K Sports Council are fully prepared to host the 2nd leg of KIWG 2025 in Gulmarg from 9th to 12th March, ensuring a world-class winter experience in one of India’s premier snow destinations.”

“All arrangements have been finalized to provide a top-tier winter sports experience, making Gulmarg the perfect venue for the games,” official added.

The event is set to witness participation from top athletes across the country, with competitions in various snow sports. Earlier, due to a lack of snowfall, the administration had postponed the Khelo India Winter Games, initially scheduled from February 22 to 25.
