4 IPS officers transferred, Anand Jain posted as ADGP Armed J&K

Srinagar, Jan 30: Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday ordered transfer and posting of four IPS officers.

As per an official order, in pursuance to order under reference, Vijay Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1997), ADGP is hereby relieved from Jammu and Kashmir on 30.01.2025 (AN), to take up his new assignment at Delhi Segment of AGMUT Cadre.

Consequent to the above, the following transfers and postings of Police Officers are hereby ordered with immediate effect, S.J.M Gillani, IPS, DGP, MD Police Housing Corporation, shall hold the additional charge of the post of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP Jammu Zone, is hereby transferred and posted as ADGP Armed, J&K.

Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS, IGP (POS), PHQ, holding additional charge of IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), J&K and IGP (Telecom), is hereby transferred and posted as Zone. IGP Jammu

M. Suleman Choudhary, IPS, IGP Traffic, J&K, shall hold the additional charge of IGP (POS) PHQ, IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), J&K and IGP (Telecom), in addition to his own duties, till further orders, reads the order.
