Winter vacation announced for Paramedical institutions in J&K

Winter vacation for primary classes in Kashmir likely from Dec 09

Srinagar, Dec 31: The Office of the Chairperson of the State Allied and Healthcare Council, J&K, has announced the winter vacation schedule for paramedical training institutions in the region.

According to an official circular, as per JKNS, all paramedical institutions, including paramedical colleges in Kashmir Division, will observe winter vacations from January 1, 2025, to February 28, 2025.

For Jammu Division, the vacation period will be from January 1, 2025, to January 15, 2025.

It reads as, the schedule aligns with the yearly activity calendar issued by the government under Order No. 691-HME of 2017, dated December 22, 2017.

The circular also stressed that examinations scheduled during the vacation period must proceed as planned. Heads of institutions have been instructed to ensure compliance with this directive.

Similarly, it is also clarified that the vacation period does not apply to teaching and non-teaching staff or students engaged in clinical postings. The council has urged all institutions to adhere strictly to the orders.
