Water supply to remain affected on Oct 30-31 in Sgr areas

Srinagar, Dec 24: As per Ex. Engineer Water Works Division Srinagar, in order to carry out desilting work of 1.5 MG Service Reservoir at 10 MGD Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Doodhganga, the general public is informed that water supply shall remain affected in various areas falling under the jurisdiction of Water Treatment Plant Doodhganga.

The water supply shall remain affected w.e.f. 01 January, 2025 (09.00 a.m) to 02 January, 2025 (09.00 a.m) in areas include Bagh I Mehtab, Kralpora, Mochua, Chanapora, Natipora, Rambagh, Gogji Bagh, Jawahar Nagar, Alouchi Bagh, Rawalpora, Hyderpora, Sanat Nagar, Baghat and adjacent areas.

Meanwhile, the general public is hereby notified to store sufficient supply of water to meet the demands.

For any complaints/grievances regarding scarcity / shortage of water supply, the general public are requested to contact the PHE Provincial Control Room which remains functional round the clock for the service of the general public.
