BJP assigns key responsiblities to leaders denied tickets

Jammu, Sep 09: In a bid to pacify its leaders , the BJP on Monday assigned new responsiblities to its leaders denied tickets.

As per KNO, former Minister Sat Sharma has been appointed as working president and former deputy chief minister Nirmal Singh as campaign in—charge

As per the party communication, Sat Sharma, party’s former president and minister in BJP—PDP government, has been reappointed as J&K BJP’s working president. He represented Jammu West constituency in the last assembly but he was replaced by Arvind Gupta as candidate.

Former deputy chief minister Nirmal Singh has been appointed as head of party’s campaign committee. He was MLA from Kathua district’s Billawar constituency, but the party fielded Satish Sharma in the segment. Moreover, party appointed former minister Sukhnandan Choudhary as vice -president of campaign .

Another former deputy CM Kavinder Gupta has been appointed as head of election management committee. He was aspirant of the party ticket from Bahu constituency, where from the party fielded Vikram Randhwa. Gupta represented erstwhile Gandhi Nagar segment, which is now bifurcated into Bahu and Jammu South.
