Srinagar, May 11: Volleyball Intramural activities for M.P.Ed organised by the Directorate of Physical Education & Sports, University of Kashmir concluded.

The Final match was scheduled to be played between Real Strikers & KU Hunters.

The Chief Guest at the event were the Worthy Registrar, Professor Dr. Naseer Iqbal, Dr Mandeep Singh, Director, Directorate of Physical Education & Sports were also present at the event. We were also having Dr. Surjeet Singh, Senior Assistant Professor and Incharge Intramural along with other faculty members including Dr. Nasir, Dr Iftikhar & Dr Kabir.

The Chief guest of the event Registrar, Prof Dr. Naseer Iqbal congratulated the Director, Directorate of Physical Education & Sports for organising such events providing students the ample opportunity to learn & grow. He also assured to provide their full support wherever needed. He also encouraged both the finalist teams & all other students with their warm words.

While addressing Dr. Mandeep, Director, Directorate of Physical Education & Sports thanked worthy Registrar Prof. Dr Nasser Iqbal for showing their presence at the event. He also welcomed them with their token of love.

The final match started at the scheduled time of 9:30 am. Team Real Strikers showed their total dominance by winning both of the first two sets, emerging as winners beating KU Hunters by 2:0 sets.

In the post match presentation we were having Dr Mandeep Singh, Director, Directorate of Physical Education& Sports along with Dr Surjeet Singh, Incharge Intramural & rest of the faculty members.

All the dignitaries were felicitated with the mementos by the organisers of the event, KU Hunters.

Further, all players from both the finalist teams were awarded by medals. The captains of winners and runners up teams received their respective trophies.

In this manner the first event of Intramural activities was successfully concluded. The next event will start from the coming Friday.
