Hailstorm, gusty winds likely in Kashmir parts today

Srinagar, Mar 24: A private weather forecaster has predicted hailstorm, gusty winds in parts of Kashmir today and also a spell of rain in the higher reaches.

According to the INS, Faizan Keng said that there is a possibility of a thundershower in some parts of Kashmir towards late afternoon today and evening.

Maximum chances are for parts of south Kashmir, he said, adding that hailstorm and gusty winds can also occur.

“In the higher reaches, a spell of rain can’t be ruled out during the afternoon hours,” he added.
