Srinagar, Feb 20: The people receiving electricity from receiving station Qazigund are reeling under darkness and appealed the concerned authorities to restore the electricity at earliest.

According to INS, the residents said that they are being forced to reel under darkness and face hardships amidst the prevailing weather conditions.

“We are not getting electricity from the last three days. The snowfall might have damaged some lines receiving stations yesterday, but we are without electricity from last three days,” the locals said.

They appealed the authorities concerned to look into the matter.

However, when contacted, AEE concerned, assured that the electricity will be restored soon, but till now there is no relief to the people as the electricity has not been restored.
