Barring Sgr, Kokernag, mercury settles below freezing point in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 04: Except Srinagar and Kokernag, the minimum temperatures have settled at below freezing point in Kashmir valley.

According to INS, the minimum temperatures have plummeted further across Kashmir while Pahalgam was coldest at -3.4°C.

Gulmarg recorded a low of -3.0°C while Qazigund in South Kashmir recorded a low of -0.4°C.

In Kupwara, the mercury settled at -2.5°C.

Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir has recorded a minimum temperature of 0.7°C. Kokernag also recorded a low of 0.8°C.
