4 Militants Killed in Surankote Poonch Gunfight

Srinagar, July 18: Four unidentified militants have been killed in a gunfight in Shindhara area of Surankote in Poonch district on Tuesday, officials said.

The encounter had ensued late last afternoon after joint team of police and army launched cordoned and search operation in the area on specific information, army had said.

Meanwhile, searches were still underway in the area till this report was being filed. Official statement was awaited
