SRM Welkin win GVEI Autumn Cricket Cup-2022

Srinagar: The GVEI organized the Autumn Cricket Cup-2022 from 4th November in which various teams of the Valley and one team of Lucknow participated. The final was played on 19th November, 2022 between the teams of Green Valley Educational Institute and SRM Welkin School, Sopore at the campus of Green Valley Educational Institute. The team of GVEI won the toss and decided to field first. SRM Welkin scored 87 runs in 10 overs where as GVEI struggling to chase the score ended up at 74 runs in 10 overs. Though GVEI put in their best efforts but SRM Welkin outclassed the host school and won the tournament. The Man of the Match was awarded to Iqrar of SRM Welkin and Best Batsman of the tournament was given to Arhan of Oasis School.
