Srinagar, July 26 : Crime Branch Kashmir on Wednesday produced chargesheet against three persons including complainant  for duping innocent people on pretext of providing them government jobs.

The Crime Branch Kashmir, now Economic Offence Wing Srinagar, produced the Charge Sheet before the Court of JMIC (Judicial Magistrate Ist Class), Tangmarg against three accused persons namely Ghulam Mohi-u-din Sheikh son of Ghulam Ahmad of Dhobiwan Tangmarg,  Abdul Majeed Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar Son-in-Law of Ghulam Mohi-u-din Lone of Kalantra Payeen Baramulla and  Imtiyaz Ahmad Parray son of Mohammad Yousuf Parray of Parray Mohalla Hajin in case  FIR No. 23/2015 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC.

“The case had been registered upon receipt of a written complaint of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Sheikh son of Ghulam Ahmad of Dhobiwan Tangmarg wherein it was alleged that Abdul Majeed Dar, and others of Kalantra Payeen Baramulla A/P Roop Nagar Jammu have grabbed Rs. 25 lacs from innocent persons for providing government Jobs,” the crime branch said in a statement issued here..

Subsequently, it said, a preliminary verification was conducted which culminated in the registration of Case FIR No. 23/2015 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC against accused persons including the complainant.

“The investigation conducted has revealed that the complainant Ghulam Mohi-u-din Sheikh along with two other accused have duped the innocent people and provided them fake appointment orders.” (
