Srinagar, July 6: Police and security force on Wednesday detected a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, official sources said.

They said that later it was defused through controlled mechanism by a Bomb Disposal Squad which was rushed to the area.

Meanwhile traffic resumed on the highway after being halted temporarily, they added.
