Srinagar, April 18: A railway Police Force personnel was killed and another injured in a militant attack in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.

A top police officer said that two cops of Railway Police were injured after militants attack them at Kakapora area of the district.

Both the injured personnel were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. However one of the succumbed to the wounds.

“(militants) fired upon RPF personnel at Kakapora, Pulwama. In this incident, 02 RPF personnel sustained bullet injuries & were evacuated to hospital, where 01 RPF personnel succumbed. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” police said in a tweet.
