As the winter fades and spring winks in, iconic almond garden in old city known locally as ‘Badamwaer’ has started to bloom.
In next few days, hundreds of almond trees in the garden, known ancient times as Bagh-e-Waris Khan (on the name of Afghan Governor Waris Khan), will bloom fully which heralds the start of the spring season in Kashmir.
