Middle-age  man killed in hit-and-run accident in Pattan

Srinagar, Feb 25: A 55-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

Reports reaching here said that a man identified as Farooq Ahmad Lone (55) son of Mohammad Ramzan Lone of Zangam Pattan was crushed to death by unknown vehicle. After the accident, the driver fled in the car from the spot.

A police official said the accident and said that a case has been registered in this regard. “Further investigations are underway,” he added.
