Jammu & Kashmir Reports 177 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, Nov 11: Jammu and Kashmir reported 177 fresh covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.

Among the fresh cases, 36 were reported from Jammu Division and 141 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 333667.

There was no death due to the virus during the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4448—2178 in Jammu and 2270 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 63 cases, Baramulla 34, Budgam 17, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 8, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 9, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 1, Shopian 0, Jammu 6, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 3, Kathua 3, Samba 1, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 4, Ramban 2 and Reasi 16.

A number of these cases were confirmed at CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory and include female (50) (NA) from Beeru, male (32) (NA) from Sgr, female (50) (NA) from Sgr, female (38) (NA) from Gudoora pulwama, male (48) (NA) from Jandwal pulwama, male (32) (NA) from Sempora, female (02) (NA) from Sempora, female (02) (NA) from Sempora, female (30) (NA) from Tral, male (24) (NA) from Gupkar road, male (24) (NA) from Malbagh, female (27) (NA) from Shalimar and male (60) (NA) from Tangmarg.

Moreover, 96 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 18 from Jammu Division and 78 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 327908 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1311—173 in Jammu and 1138 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The government also informed that 99922 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
