146 New Covid-19 Cases, No Death Reported In Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 11: Jammu & Kashmir reported 146 new novel coronavirus cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

25 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 121 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case tally to 326799.

There was no death reported due to the pathogen during the time, they said. So far 4412—2167 in Jammu and 2245 in Kashmir have succumbed to the virus as per official data.

Providing the district-wise details, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 72 cases, Baramulla 15, Budgam 9, Pulwama 3, Kupwara 7, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 6, Kulgam 5, Shopian 0, Jammu 4, Udhampur 3, Rajouri 0, Doda 13, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 3.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of CD hospital and GMC Anantnag.

The CD cases include female (26) from Alamgiri Bazar, female (38) and male (35) from Srg, male (36) from Baghat Barzulla, female (54) from NA, female (34) from Chattabal, male (33) from Nigeen and two males (34, 17) from Lal Bazar.

The GMC Anantnag cases include male (46) and female (42) from Kulgam Main, female (38) from Bijbehara Ang.

Moreover, they said, 138 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—27 from Jammu Division and 111 from the valley during last 24 hours. So far, 321086 people have recovered, leaving active cases at 1301— 229 in Jammu and 1072 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, there was one fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 46 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
