116 New Covid-19 Cases, One Death Reported In J&K

Srinagar, Sep 04: Jammu & Kashmir reported 116 new coronavirus cases even as there was one death due the virus in last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.
31 of the new cases were reported from Jammu Division and 85 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case tally to 325830.
There was one death reported due to the pathogen from Kashmir Valley during the time. So far 4410—2166 in Jammu and 2244 in Kashmir have succumbed to the pathogen as per official data.
Providing the district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 47 cases, Baramulla 7, Budgam 3, Pulwama 14, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 5, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 6, Doda 14, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 3, Poonch 0, Ramban 2 and Reasi 1.
Moreover, they said, 168 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—26 from Jammu Division and 142 from the valley. So far, 325830 people have recovered, leaving active cases at 1327— 271 in Jammu and 1056 in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, there was no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 45 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
