Elegant Strikers qualify for Semi Finals of JKPL-1

Srinagar, Aug 23: The third quarter final of the JKPL-1 was played between Mayid Rayan Warriors and Elegant Strikers at Green Valley Educational Institute on Monday. Mayid Rayan Warriors won the toss and elected to bowl first. Elegant Strikers post a huge total of 256 runs. Khalid Bhat (105 of 51 balls) and Owais Shah (51 of 19 balls) were the top run scorers for their team. For Mayid Rayan Warriors Shadad took 3 wickets.In reply Mayid Rayan Warriors scored 245 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Henan Malik played an exceptional knock of 126 of 55 balls and Ahmad Banday scored 66 of 28 balls . Nadeem and Owais Shah claimed 2 wicket each for Elegant Strikers. Khalid Bhat for his outstanding batting performance was awarded as Man of the Match.
