However these teachers from a private school in Anantnag namely “Crescent High School Dialgam “has been written to the LG grievance cell to intervene in the matter so that their salary will be released.

A copy of the letter is lying on INS desk, in which the private school teachers mentioned and alleged that “the administration of the private school is not releasing salary in favour of its teachers from the last 8 months and we are suffering a lot during these crucial times of covid19.

The letter further reads that the administration of the school has received all the fee/dues from its students but they have not paid any peny to the teachers for working hard for teaching the students.

The majority of the teachers are aged and are suffering during this period as lockdown was observed throughout the country instead of that they have maintained their attendance in the school. Letter reads.

Talking to INS teachers said that as we are observing that the administration is taking various steps to combat the epidemic crises of coronavirus like relief work, advance salary to employees etc but a high percentage of the population working as private teachers on meagre salaries are facing difficult conditions. We are without salaries for more than eight months. They said

Meanwhile talking to INS CEO Anantnag Mohd Shareef assures action and said that we have also received the complaint against the private school, he said that we have conveyed message to private school administrators regarding the issue but still we didn’t get any respond from the school, CEO said.
