All party meet in Delhi: Farooq Abdullah chairs meeting with party members, BJP, PDP leaders leave for Delhi

Srinagar: Former chief minister Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday chaired a meeting with party functionaries from Jammu province at his residence.

The meeting comes at a time when the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has invited political parties from Jammu Kashmir for an all party meet.

Among others party Ali Muhammad Sagar, Devender Singh Rana, Ajay Sadhotra, Sajjad kichloo, Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy were also present.

 

“Entire team of Jammu (NC) which is here along with me has reposed faith in Dr Farooq Abdullah. He has assured us that he will represent us with his wisdom (at PM’s meeting). The pluralistic Jammu is for singular J&K,” Devender Singh Rana, Provincial President NC, Jammu said.

Mean while J&K BJP chief Ravinder Raina and party leader & former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta have left, for Delhi.

Former chief minister and PDP supremo Mehbooba Mufti too has left for the meeting in delhi, reports said.

 

PM Narendra Modi has called an all-party meeting of J&K’s political parties tomorrow at the national capital.
