Srinagar: An awareness campaign was conducted by Police and other government officials in Dhobi Mohalla Hazratbal in Srinagar district on Wednesday.

 

 

Officials said that Sp Hazratbal Irshad Ahmad, Sdpo Hazratbal Showkat, SHO Nigeen Ghower,  SHO Zakura R P Singh and civil society member Nazir Ahmad were also present .

Among those who were campaigning to sensitise people about Covid-19 was Tehsildar Hazratbal Altaf Ahmad. Dr Omar of civil defence was also present on the occasion urging masses to follow all the precautions prescribed by Doctors and follow SOP.

People of the area appreciated the efforts by the civil administration and police to create awareness about the pandemic amid second wave.
