Jammu: People took to streets in Jammu against a liquor shop where long queues were waiting to buy from shop. Protesters demanded immediate closure of the shop.

Eyewitnesses said that the two groups faced each other but no untoward incident was reported.

“This is so shamefull and a callous approach of authorities,” said a resident, protesting the opening of liquor shop.

Protesters demanded immediate closure of the shop. “What is the need to open this shop in such circumstances,” protesters said.
