Srinagar, May 26: Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday deployed Sheetal Nanda (IAS) to oversee COVID containment related work at Jammu instead of Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (IAS) who is recuperating from the health issue.

“In partial modification to Government Order No.415- JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 06.05.2021, Ms. Sheetal Nanda, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department is hereby deployed with the Health and Medical Education Department for performing COVID containment related work at Jammu in place of Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, IAS, Administrative Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department,” reads an order.  “The officer shall oversee all COVID containment related work at Jammu as assigned to her by Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department.”
