4th phase of DDC polls: Kashmir Records 25.54%, Jammu 59.38% Voting Till 1PM

Jammu, Dec 07: The 4th phase of DDC elections recorded voter percentage of 41.94% across different constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir till 1PM on Monday. While Kashmir reported 25.54 percent voting, 59.38 percent was recorded in Jammu division, the officials said.
As per the figures given by the office of State Election Commissioner, in Kashmir Division, Kupwara recorded voting percentage of 28.77%, Bandipora 44.82%, Baramulla 37.40%, Ganderbal 43.45%, Budgam 36.36%, Pulwama 5.66%, Shopian 1.76%, Kulgam 6.59% and Anantnag 23.63%.
Similarly, in Jammu division, Kishtwar recorded voting percentage of 59.29%, Doda 67.86%, Ramban 61.50%, Reasi 49.30%, Kathua 54.23%, Samba 59.64%, Jammu 6271%, Rajouri 65.49% and Poonch 59.15.
In phase 4th of DDC elections, voting is being conducted in 34 constituencies, 17 each from Jammu and Kashmir Divisions, for which 1910 polling stations, 781 in Jammu division and 1129 in Kashmir division have been set up for the smooth conduct of elections.
Moreover, in 4th phase, 717322 electors are eligible to cast their votes including 376797 males and 340525 females.
