Landslide block Srinagar-Sonamarg highway in Ganderbal

Ganderbal: Landslides blocked Srinagar-Sonamarg highway at Kulan Gund araea in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday evening.
Reports said authorities suspended traffic on the thoroughfare after landslides triggered by heavy rains.
An official said that Border Road Organisation pressed men and machinery into service to clear the landslide.
The officer said efforts are on to restore the highway at earliest.
