Srinagar, Aug: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Dr Mohammad Ashraf Mir from Pampore who died of COVID-19.
In a statement issued here, Bukhari described the Dr Ashraf as frontline warrior who lost his life while trying to save precious human lives from the deadly Coronavirus. “His contribution in the field of medicine especially in his home district Pulwama will be remembered by one and all,” Bukhari added.
Bukhari said the medics and paramedics besides all those employees who are on the front line in battle against COVID 19 are the real heroes who without bothering for their own lives serve the humanity.
“I on behalf of entire JKAP express heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family, friends and colleagues of Dr Ashraf who gave his life for a cause. May Almighty Allah bestow eternal peace to the departed soul and give courage to his family to bear this irreparable loss,” Bukhari prayed.
