613 new Covid-19 cases in J&K, tally 20972 including 5091 in Srinagar

Srinagar, August 1: Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reported 613 novel coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 20972 in J&K.
Among them, 145 were reported from Jammu and 468 from Kashmir.
Giving district wise details, official sources said that Srinagar reported 305 cases, Baramulla 23, Pulwama 58, Kulgam 4, Shopian 16, Anantnag 12, Budgam 14, Kupwara 4, Bandipora 22, Ganderbal 10, Jammu 52, Rajouri 21, Ramban 2, Kathua 8, Udhampur 12, Samba 5, Doda 19, Poonch 8, Reasi 10 and Kishtwar 8. In Kashmir, Srinagar tops the list with 5091 cases followed by Baramulla with 1924, Pulwama 1538, Kulgam 1508, Shopian 1508, Anantnag 1311, Kupwara 1098, Budgam 1291, Bandipora 755, and Ganderbal 421. In Jammu division, Jammu district has 1122 cases, Rajouri 691, Ramban 537, Kathua 530, Udhampur 472, Samba 430, Doda 288, Poonch 218, Reasi 156 and Kishtwar 145. With the new cases, the tally overall has risen to 20972—16383 in Kashmir and 4589 in Jammu. Meanwhile, 654 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—96 from Jammu Division and 558 from Kashmir Division.
