KU suspends class work, postpones exams on Monday

KU postpones all exams scheduled on Friday

Srinagar: Class work in all teaching departments of the University of Kashmir shall remain suspended on Monday (August 14), a spokesman of the varsity said.

All the examinations scheduled for August 14 are also postponed, the spokesman said. “Fresh dates for the deferred examinations shall be notified separately, later. However, the official work in all departments and administration shall be carried out as usual,” the spokesman said.

No reasons have been assigned by the varsity for its decision but the decision seems to have been taken in wake of the killings in south Kashmir.
