Covid-19: 20 More Test Positive, 318 Active Positive Cases In Kashmir Now

Srinagar: Twenty persons on Friday tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Kashmir Valley, taking the number of the infected persons to 454.
Official sources said that all these cases were confirmed at Viral Diagnostic Lab of SKIMS Soura and of them nine are from Bandipora, 5 from Shopian, 4 from Kupwara and two from Baramulla district’s Tangmarg area.
With these cases, Bandipora now has 108 COVID-19 patients, highest in all districts, followed by Srinagar (79), Shopian (60), Baramulla (52), Kupwara (45), Jammu (26), Udhampur (20), Ganderbal (14), Budgam (14), Anantnag (15), Kulgam (6), Rajouri (4), Samba (4), Pulwama (3) while Kathua, Kishtwar and Ramban districts have one case each.
While overall tally has gone upto 454, there are 357 active cases—39 in Jammu and 318 in Kashmir. Five persons have died of the disease so far while 92 others have recovered. (with agency inputs)
