Bandipora Surpasses Srinagar As J&K’s COVID-19 Tally Rises To 341

Srinagar/Anantnag: Bandipora district on Saturday surpassed Srinagar in highest number of novel coronavirus cases as samples of five more people from the north Kashmir district returned positive. In all eight more officially confirmed cases surfaced in Kashmir Valley, taking the overall all tally of Covid-19 patients to 341 in J&K.
Besides five cases from Bandipora, two are said to be from Anantnag district and one from Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam.
Regarding Anatnag cases, sources said they include a male and a female from Shangas Nowgam and are said to be the contacts of a previous patient.
With these cases, Bandipora now has 80 cases followed by Srinagar with 78, Baramulla 42, Kupwara 27, Shopian 22, Ganderbal 14, Budgam 13, Kulgam 5 and three each in Pulwama and Anantnag districts.
