As Kupwara village remembers minor Umar on his first death anniversary, killers yet to be traced

Kupwara: Year on the mysterious death case of a minor  Umar Farooq, this day last year, is still without a trace of any culprit. Family of the boy lives in a hope that perpetrators will be brought to justice. 
Seeking capital punishment for the people behind the bars, family of Umar is yet to come out of the shock.
 Umar’s body was found lying  at Gushi Bridge in Kupwara distirct last years with burn mark’s, severe scratches and an arm amputated.
His amputated arm is yet to be found.

“There seems no ray of hope for my  devastated family. Many were taken away by police and interrogated including my neighbours, relatives and me as well but still  there in no conclusion none has been charged for the mysterious murder of my lone son”, Farooq Ahamd Malik father of Umar Malik said.

Umar was lone brother among six sisters.

“My son wasn’t a militant, spy, nor a stone pelter, why are authorities taking so long,” Shareefa, mother of Umar, questioned.  
However Farooq said that, in a recent communication with Crime Branch they assured me that they have conducted a thorough enquiry into the incident and have succeeded to an extend and all those behind the brutal murder of my son will face the punishment under law.
“In next few days they’ll produce a charge sheet against some accused found involved in the case before court,” Farooq claimed
, Umar was only eight year old when he went missing on 16th july lat year and was found dead on 19th july. 
The aggrieved family members have appealed state governor to direct crime branch to seed up the investigation and give them justice and a reason to live.
