Damaged in 2014 floods, Awantipora school reconstructed with latest technology

Awantipora: Government school in Awantipora has been reconstructed with advanced technology by the authorities after it was totally damaged in 2014 floods.
Constructed at an amount of around Rs 50 lakhs along with a bathroom and other structures, the primary school situated in Larkipora village of Awantipora was totally damaged in deluge and as a consequence, students used to face tremendous inconveniences.
The locals said that their wards were facing tough time at school in absence of infrastructure and other facilities from years.
They said that locals continued to make efforts by taking up the matter with higher officials, which results in reconstruction of school building.
CEO Pulwama Naseem-ul-Gani said that the school was constructed with well equipped classrooms and other facilities.
He said that engineering wing played vital role in making the building attractive. The students with disabilities are also enrolled in this school.
